How Wholesale Buying Works at Kapitan B2B

This page sets out how wholesale buying works at Kapitan B2B, step by step, for dealers and exporters buying more than one vehicle for resale and export. The flow is the same whether you buy one vehicle or several: each is assessed and requested on its own. The order is fixed — approved account, approved documents, purchase request, proforma invoice, payment confirmation, release. A purchase request is not a reservation. Reading the steps below before you start helps a multi-vehicle purchase run without surprises, since each vehicle moves through the same checks.

Step 1 — Become an approved B2B partner

Wholesale buying starts with an approved B2B account. We review your company before granting access; this confirms you are a business buyer, not a private one. Once approved, you can log in and see more than public visitors. This stage matters more for wholesale, because you will be assessing several vehicles and need the fuller view to judge them. An approved account alone does not let you request a proforma invoice yet — document approval comes next. Keep your company details accurate, as they apply to every vehicle you buy.

Step 2 — Get your company documents approved

Upload the required company documents, which are reviewed separately from your account. They typically include company registration details and a valid VAT number. Document approval is a single step that then applies across your wholesale purchases — you do not re-approve documents for each vehicle. Only after approval can a proforma invoice be issued. Getting this done early is especially useful for wholesale buyers, because it clears the way to move on several vehicles quickly once you have selected them.

Step 3 — Select vehicles and send purchase requests

Browse the inventory and select the vehicles you want. For wholesale, you assess each vehicle on its own condition and visible-use photos, then send a purchase request per vehicle. A purchase request is not a reservation and does not hold the vehicle; availability can change at any time. We confirm requests manually. If a vehicle is gone, we tell you and you can choose another. Handling each vehicle as its own request keeps a multi-vehicle purchase clear and avoids assumptions about what is still available.

Step 4 — Proforma invoice and payment

Once your documents are approved and your requests are confirmed, we issue a proforma invoice. Payment is by bank transfer. International transfers can take several working days, so plan ahead — more so for a larger wholesale purchase. After paying, you send payment confirmation. We treat it as proof, but it is valid only after our review and approval. Vehicles are not released on a transfer slip alone; release follows once payment is visible on our account.

Step 5 — Release, export documents and transport

When payment is visible on our account, the vehicles are released. Export documentation can be discussed per vehicle and pickup, including EX-A and EUR.1 where applicable and on request. Transport is arranged in consultation, which often matters more when several vehicles move together. Preparing exporter and transport details in advance keeps this stage efficient. From here, the vehicles and their paperwork move toward export to your market.
